This Logo was designed by Wolf Olins. The publics perception of the final logo is not great, there has been much hysteria condemnation around it. On this basis Daniel Eatock decided to design an alternative for the logo.
His alternative logo is a composite of two icons:
1. The Olympic Rings
2. RAF roundel, asscoiated with the British pop art for the 1960s, appearing in paintings by Jasper Johns and Peter Blake, seen below.
